Belly’s room at the Cousins Beach house had a TON of drama. Lots of tears, CRAZY conversations and who can forget her prepping for the deb ball.
Her room is such a classic – it has a gorgeous vintage vibe with the blue and white patterns mixed with the modern lime green bedside cabinets.
Paired with the coastal touches throughout the space – making this room PERFECT for its location in a beach house and oh so dreamy.
We broke the room down into different items found in the Cousins house bedroom:
- Bedding
- Pillows and Sheets
- Lamps
- Trinket Bowl
- Photo Frames
- Bed
- Bedside Cabinets
- Rug
- Mirror
- Wallpaper
- Bear
We love how easy it is to recreate this dream bedroom – get inspired as we discuss each piece of decor below!
1. Coastal Blue and White Bedding
Many a scene is found in the series (The Summer I Turned Pretty) featuring Belly’s gorgeous blue and white bedding.
Not only does this brighten up a space but this is a classic that simply doesn’t age.
Opt for changing up the matching pillow cases of the set for the option below that are closer to Belly’s.
2. Pillows and Sheets
This super cute blue heart pattern sheets is almost identical to the ones in Belly’s bedroom.
The dainty print is another simple yet classic look that isn’t going out of style (swiftie reference haha) any time soon.
3.Belly’s Bedroom Lamps
ok, we LOVVEE Belly’s bedroom lampshades.
The deep blue and white lamps that sit on her bedside cabinets are absolutely gorgeous and compliment the coastal and nautical theme of the space.
We love these options – particularly the first one with the gorgeous tile effect design.
4.Trinket Bowl
Can we talk about how useful a trinket bowl actually is? We’re sure Belly used this SO much during her summer at Cousins.
These stunning blue and white ceramic trinket bowls are almost identical to Belly’s.
Place this on your bedside cabinet and keep earrings and other jewellry in it overnight.
5. Photo Frames
How cute are these gold photo frames on Belly’s Bedroom wall?
Remove the white paper from inside the frame and position them on your wall (in no particular order).
Such an easy way to decorate your bedroom in a small way and in this case achieve an Summer I Turned Pretty Aesthetic.
6. Belly’s Bed
Belly’s vintage feel bedroom is stunning – the flower design on the headboard and foot of the bed is super pretty.
While we weren’t able to find THIS exact bed frame – we found some great alternatives that still feel like Belly’s bedroom aesthetic.
7. Bedside Cabinet
Add these lime green bedside cabinets to either side of the bed and place the trinket bowl on one and a gorgeous starfish on the other.
What a beautiful seaside touch to add to the space that compliments the green cabinets.
8. Rug
While we don’t see much of Belly’s bedroom rug/carpet – we can gather that it has a beautiful Persian style with blue accents.
Depending on your room dimensions opt for the larger or more narrow ‘hallway’ rug and place on the floor at the end of the bed.
9. Belly’s Floor Mirror
This gorgeous vintage feel white floor mirror is a wonderful addition to any bedroom space.
In Belly’s bedroom it compliments the white bed frame and the blue and white coastal theme without being overly modern.
10. Blue and White Wallpaper
Could this room be as beautiful as it is WITHOUT its charming blue and white pattern wallpaper?
THIS element is an absolute must to recreate the room in your space.
It exudes The Summer I Turned Pretty aesthetic.
11. Belly’s Bear
It wouldn’t be Belly’s room at Cousins without the polar bear that Conrad gave her.
While its twin isn’t available to buy – you can come pretty close to the real thing with these adorable bears.
Grab yourself a bear and a pair of sunglasses (we linked the kids ones for a better fit for your bear) to start recreating her super sweet bear.
and if knitting isn’t your thing, you can grab a mini knitted scarf for Belly’s polar bear here.
